Amarillo
Downtown had a challenge with Canyon Club for membership.
The
losing Club would cook for the winner.
According to Boss Lion Ryan Hodge from Amarillo Downtown, both Clubs won
as both clubs increased their membership, Canyon by 10 and Amarillo
Downtown by 6, which Lion Hodge indicated was the largest monthly increase
in a loooong time.

LEADER DOGS for the BLIND |
|
Hello gentlemen:
I thought I would let you know that I made it back from Leader Dogs for
the Blind meeting for District Leader Dog Chair. There is a lot to share
with all the clubs and I have had one club call me for a program. Please
let the clubs know that I am available if they need a speaker. On a
similar note my sister Charlene Brown received her second Leader Dog after
a three week training and we were able to fly back together Sunday. Her
new dog is a golden retriever named Biscuit. Sandi her first leader dog
is retired and Charlene was able to keep her. I have put pictures of
Leader Dogs for the Blind that I took on the Dumas Website. I am
including pictures of Charlene, Biscuit and Sandi. Our website is
www.dumasnoonlions.com
go to the photo album then click on Leader Dogs tab.

I have been busy with the
internet lately as you can see. The link below will take you to a video I
put together and their software did the rest. It certainly looks like we
are having fun spreading information through the district about Leader
Dogs for the Blind. Be sure and give it time to start.
